Design and Innovation Award 2023 - Winner, NUVE Bicycle cover
We’re excited and proud to announce that our product Mayfair Fur Breathable Bicycle Cover has won the prestigious Design and Innovation Award 2023. The ultimate award in the bike industry that puts products through rigorous testing over a 2 week period outside a lab and in the real-world. It has an independent panel of 30 judges including international journalists, professional test riders and industry experts, that identify the most outstanding products following intense review. Needless to say, we’re thrilled that Nuve has been recognised.
The Design and Innovation Award gives validation and certainty to consumers and businesses alike, of the genuine innovation of the awarded products. It offers a guided path through an increasing number of items that are filling the cycling market, and gives a trusted seal of approval, deciphering real trends from hot air.
The panel of judges called the NUVE Mayfair Fur bicycle cover a “stylish outfit for road bikes” and deemed it as “sustainable, innovative and with an extraordinary design” They were convinced that our product holds “the best possible protection.”
At Nuve we believe strongly in user centred and responsible design principles paired with continuous innovation to create the best possible products for cycling. The criteria for this award besides innovation and design include quality, sustainability, ethics, weight, craft and efficiency, all of which we have considered with high priority when we were developing the Mayfair Fur Bicycle cover. They align with some of our goals to contribute towards a better future.
We are rooted in the city and believe that cycling will be the main way to commute through urban areas, creating safer, calmer and cleaner streets for cyclists and pedestrians. This brings lots of exciting opportunities to innovate in the bicycle industry. But for now, we’re delighted about our first win for our debut product and will enjoy the award as we look to the future.
